Job Description - Sales & Marketing Business Development

Summit One Source is a back-office service provider of diversified human resources solutions for small to midsize businesses. Our objective is to be an aggregator of business productivity by empowering our clients to streamline their HR functions to one strategic partner and permitting them to focus on operating and growing their businesses. Summit One Source provides a full range of workforce management solutions to help organizations with their most valuable asses: Their Employees. Our HR solutions and technology include features such as COVID0-19 Solutions, HR Consulting, Compliance Technology, Remote Workforce Solutions, Payroll Services, Benefits Solutions, Recruiting and Employee Onboarding, as well as Workforce Management. Summit One Source is currently operating in all 50 U.S. States, Puerto Rico, and Guam and has a skilled executive team, with over 80 years of experience combined.


JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW




  • The below represents some of the primary responsibilities of the position.



    • Develop and execute on marketing initiatives

    • Schedule and virtually present services with prospective partners

    • Review the entire demo of the product suite with prospects

    • Prepare and present proposals and provide appropriate follow-up throughout the sales process

    • Organize, complete, and obtain the documentation required for clients to be onboarded with Summit

    • Work directly with internal departments to ensure a smooth transition for clients

    • Build and maintain relationships with referral partners

    • Prepare proposals for existing clients adding additional services

    • Prioritize work to ensure timely, effective, efficient, and economic delivery of services.



    • Document customer interaction in the CRM system.

    • Responsible for taking initiative and action towards professional development.

    • Responsible for meeting established key performance factors as identified by management.

    • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.








  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS



  • Education: Bachelor's degree desired; or equivalent education/work experience.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow in the role.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Must work well within a team.

  • Cooperation with others in pursuit of company goals.


Knowledge Technologies:



  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • CRM/Sales Tracking a plus

  • Proficient in HR and Payroll technology solutions

  • Experience with isolved HCM a plus





WORK ENVIRONMENT/OTHER INFORMATION (Travel required, physical requirements, on-call schedules, etc.)



  • Remote work environment.

  • Minimal travel required.
