THE JOB:   SALES and MARKETING COORDINATOR

 The Sales and Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the sales and marketing team by managing administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.   

In this role, the Sales and Marketing Coordinator will  assist in managing customer inquiries, processing contracts and receivables, and coordinating, meetings, preparing sales and event reports, as required.  Additionally, the position will help monitor social media channels to ensure content on hotel websites & platforms are up to date.

• One to two years experience in administrative role, preferably in a hospitality or sales environment
• Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
• A dedicated customer service professional that is committed to the highest quality standards
• Being the face of the hotel, the sales coordinator needs to be well groomed and must always dress professionally.
• Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with key business partners and customers.
• Ability to create and edit sales materials and presentations.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to coordinate and organize meetings, exhibits, and other events.
• High level of proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, WordPress, Microsoft Teams
• Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
• Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports
