Job Description - Sales and Marketing Manager

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced Sales Representative to join our team and help us grow our Transportation and Logistics operations.}

_{The Marketing & Sales Support Manager is responsible for supporting the sales staff, assisting with customer solutions, and maintaining and growing existing accounts. The position involves a high volume of customer interaction, including prospecting, and qualifying customers. Marketing & Sales Support is responsible for responding to inquiries, processing orders and handling complaints in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. Also, managing customer orders, in a manner which adheres to Hackbarth’s procedures, is a primary responsibility.}

_{Key Responsibilities:}

_{Creates Press Releases, media blast and other marketing material for Hackbarth.}
_{Assist with the marketing materials and preparation for tradeshows and other events.}
_{Creates/Manages Social Media postings (i.e. LinkedIn, Face Book, etc.) on a regular basis.}
_{Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow business.}
_{Use both traditional and electronic communication tools to make contact with prospective, current and former customers.}
_{Identify business opportunities for Hackbarth’ s services.}
_{Create quotations and sales proposals in collaboration with sales staff.}
_{Collaborate with appropriate internal resources on pricing decisions.}
_{Organizes and ensures RFPs, RFIs and questionnaires are complete and submitted timely.}
_{Ensures that new clients and existing clients are set up correctly with accounting and that they are billed appropriately for the work performed consistent with the contractual agreement.}
_{Maintain service agreements in a centralized file library with shared access.}
_{Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a sense of urgency.}
_{Maintain and update accurate information in the company's operating systems.}
_{Understand and support the goals, policies and procedures of Hackbarth Delivery Service.}
_{Maintain confidentiality of company information.}

_{Qualifications:}

_{Minimum of bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or Communications and/or equivalent work experience.}
_{Minimum of 1-4 years in freight solution sales, marketing or customer service.}
_{Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels.}
_{Established contacts and relationships with potential customers.}
_{Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.}
_{Proven sales track record in public relations and marketing.}
_{Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create results driven, team oriented environment.}
_{Experience in choosing, deploying, and using marketing and sales applications.}
_{Demonstrated ability to:}
_{Work effectively with internal and external individuals, including other professionals in the community.}
_{Work effectively as a member of a team.}
_{Effectively communicate to various internal and external audiences in both person and through various electronic media.}
_{Manage time and work effectively with minimal supervision.}
_{Effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.}
