Job Description - Sales, Artistry & Education Account Executive - NY Metro

We are seeking an experienced Sales, Artistry, and Education Executive based in the New York City metropolitan area that is passionate about the clean color category and safe, performance driven ingredients. They will be an example and advocate of the ILIA lifestyle and a champion of our in-store presence and client experience. Strong communication skills are critical for this candidate as it will enable them to educate the store teams on our unique point of difference. This position will have a significant impact on our retail sales performance and overall ranking.


This role is a Field Sales role and open to candidates based in the New York City metropolitan area. This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager, East. 


Responsibilities:

  • Train retail store teams on product attributes, ingredients, and application technique; lead by example by displaying ILIA’s core values

  • Act as a liaison between ILIA and our retail partners, namely in-store and regional leadership

  • Build & develop a strong, results-driven freelance artistry team

  • Analyze & maintain regional sales reports

  • Maintain clear communication with HQ and accounts

  • Calculate and achieve seasonal and monthly goals for the territory by store

  • Work with Director of Sales Planning & Strategy on inventory concerns

  • Understand retailer specific cultures and modify approach to achieve success

  • Develop event activation programs to increase brand presence in critical doors and ensure proper execution

  • Drive business in region through creativity, education, and field strategy

  • Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with internal and external business partners resulting in increased understanding of the business and category

  • Leverage your negotiation skills to secure opportunities to increase brand awareness and visibility in region

  • Maintain a consistent calendar of visiting stores on peak days and working alongside retail employees

  • Upholding the visual standards of ILIA on tester units and gondolas.
