Sales Assistant

Description

Summary: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support our sales team in a fast-paced valve manufacturing environment. The Sales Assistant will be responsible for assisting with order processing, maintaining reports, assisting with exports, and supporting communication between the sales team, customers, and other departments.

Responsibilities:

• Track sales orders and provide customers with order status updates.
• Help organize and maintain sales-related files, product literature, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with production and inventory teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Support the sales team during client visits, trade shows, and other events as needed.
• Handle general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the sales department.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic understanding of industrial products or mechanical components such as valves, fittings, or piping systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
