 Sales Assistants play a key role in driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and representing the LAKE brand with passion and authenticity in our retail locations. Sales assistants ensure shopping experiences are inspirational, inventory is accurately processed, stockroom standards are maintained, checkout is smooth, and consistent sales floor presentation standards are met and maintained. 

You will...

•  Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring product displays are visually appealing. 
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system (Shopify). Neatly wrap client purchases. 
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts, physical inventory, restocking and organizing merchandise. 
• Greet customers warmly. Assist the team by bringing clients’ selected products from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Educate customers about our products, including fabric details and care instructions. 

You should have...

• Previous retail experience in inventory management, operations, or sales preferred, but not required.
• Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
• Committed to maintaining accurate inventory and store organization.
• Positive demeanor, lead with kindness and grace.
• Team player, works well with others. 
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in the LAKE brand.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

When performed in New York State, the hourly range for this role is $16/ hour- $20/ hour, depending on skills and experience. This range reflects the local cost of living and company guidelines.
