POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-centric broadband Sales Assistant to join our team in Chubbuck or Rockland, ID depending on the successful candidate. Support the sales and operations teams by scheduling installations, handling inbound customer contacts, performing minor sales and upsells, maintaining CRM records, preparing sales/KPI reports, and helping drive customer satisfaction and growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule and coordinate residential and business installations.
Administering “Broadband-in-a-Box” and other customer friendly programs.
Answer inbound calls, emails, and chats; provide professional, timely responses.
Perform minor sales and guided upsells consistent with pricing and compliance rules.
Maintain and update customer records in the CRM.
Produce regular sales and KPI reports (install conversion, churn, upsell rate, ARPU, response times).
Educate customers on service features, self‑help tools, and billing options.
Collect and document customer feedback and satisfaction data.
Manage customer escalations with empathy and timely follow‑through.
Represent the company at community outreach events and support local customer acquisition efforts.
Contribute to process improvements to boost efficiency and customer experience.
Follow regulatory and contractual requirements when applicable.
Other administrative responsibilities as assigned by Leadership.
SALARY: $18 – $20/hour + eligible for unlimited upsell commissions
SCHEDULE:
Work hours will be between 35 to 40 hours per week during regular business hours, with the possibility of evening and weekend shifts for outreach as needed.
Occasional travel as needed.
Location: Rockland or Chubbuck, Idaho.
QUALIFICATION & REQUIRED SKILLS EXPECTATIONS:
1–3 years customer service, administrative, or sales support experience (telecom/broadband experience preferred).
Team‑oriented and cooperative — puts the team and customers first.
Proactive and driven — looks for ways to contribute and improve.
Emotionally intelligent — communicates with tact, reads situations well, and builds rapport.
Honest and accountable — admits mistakes, follows through, and maintains trust.
Strong verbal and written communication; professional phone presence.
Comfortable with minor sales and upselling; able to handle objections tactfully.
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and Excel for reporting.
Organized, detail oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
Basic technical literacy: understanding of broadband service types, basic troubleshooting, and installation workflows.
Reliable, punctual; able to work occasional evenings or weekends for events or emergency scheduling.
Must have and maintain valid Driver’s License with good driving record and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass background check, pre-employment drug and alcohol screening, and drug screening at any time during employment.
