Sales Assistant

We are looking for a competent Sales Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.

Responsibilities

• Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures
• Communicate with customers in person, through phone calls, and social media \ instant messaging in order to assist customers as they prepare to purchase a vehicle
• Assist Sales Staff with regular daily duties including maintaining a clean working environment, accepting credit applications, submitting applications for financing, monitoring vehicle inventory to ensure vehicles are in good condition.
• Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
• Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
• Provide ongoing customer service to customers in need of vehicle maintenance by helping them schedule appointments with our service department
• Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues
• Maintain trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
• Perform receptionist duties when needed
• Start and run vehicles weekly

• Working knowledge of office equipment
• Thorough understanding of office management procedures
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of and ability to use technologies such as computers and social media
• Willingness to be outdoors assisting customers at times.
• Ability to easily get in and out of vehicles.
