Sales Assistant (Assisted Living) - Career Growth Potential

Summary/Objective:
Novellus Kingwood is looking for an experiences Sales Assistant to join their Senior Living Community team. The Sales Assistant provides support services to the sales/marketing department. They are responsible for interacting with prospective residents, data entry of contracts, reports, resident data and correspondence with prospective residents.

COMPENSATION:
Base pay:$19 - $24/ hr DOE
*plus monthly bonus incentive potential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Initiate and maintain contact with prospective residents, referral sources, and marketing to promote our community.
• Plan, organize, and participate in marketing events to promote our community.
• Schedule, organize, and conduct tours with prospective residents of our community.
• Follow-up with current leads and develop new resources for obtaining leads.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship with residents, families, and professional providers of care.
• Respond and follow-up with walk-ins, phone inquiries, mail inquiries, etc. in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Participate in the pre-admission and admission process
• Orient patients to our community environment.
• Communicate any special needs of the incoming resident to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with social workers on discharge plans.
• Work closely with the Executive Director, Community Relations Director, Business Office Manager, and Resident Care Director regarding new resident move-in/move-outs.

Position Requirements:

• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Extremely creative and inventive.
• Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Education aND Experience:

• High school diploma is required.
• Previous experience in sales and marketing.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
