Sales Associate

Position Overview:

As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our retail store, providing exceptional customer service and driving sales through proactive engagement with customers. Your primary responsibilities include assisting customers in finding products that meet their needs, maintaining store appearance, and ensuring that sales targets are met. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service:
  • Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in selecting products that suit their needs and preferences.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide detailed information about products, services, and promotions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.
• Sales:
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall store sales goals.
  • Suggest additional products and upsell to enhance customer purchases.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the store’s POS system.
  • Participate in promotional activities and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Store Maintenance:
  • Ensure that the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing.
  • Replenish stock and maintain inventory levels on the sales floor.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise shipments.
  • Arrange and display products according to company guidelines and standards.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with other sales associates and store management to achieve store objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Provide support to new team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in retail, sales, or a related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying merchandise.

Working Conditions:
