Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities may include working the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.

Responsibilities

Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping

Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.

Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.

Collect payments by cash and credit card

Issue receipts and refunds to customers

Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.

Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.

Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.

Be efficient with Instagram / Facebook / Tik Tok etc.

Posting cards on eBay

Packing and Shipping orders

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively

Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service

Willingness to work well in a team environment

Ability to quickly and accurately work a register

Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Must have card knowlede ( TCG or Sports Cards )

Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Dominick, the owner and founder of Sports Card Zone, is a huge sports fan. Collecting sports cards and sport memorabilia began as a way to connect with his favorite teams and players. He started selling sports cards and other memorabilia in 2015 as a way to level the playing field and get quality cards for himself and his friends at a cheaper price. He realized that he could offer the best cards for a better price to other collectors. What was once a hobby has turned into a lucrative business venture, allowing him to continue to offer the best prices for sports cards, memorabilia, and gaming cards.
