We are looking for a driven and organized National Sales Associate to join our Sales team. In this role, you will own relationships with small and mid-market prospects, managing the full sales cycle for accounts up to 500 employees and supporting broker agency RFI responses. You are a self-starter who is comfortable owning a deal from first touch to close, while also collaborating with the broader Sales team on larger opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
RFIs for Broker Agencies
Own the end-to-end RFI response process for employee benefits broker/consulting agencies
Complete security questionnaires, vendor assessments, and procurement forms accurately and on time
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Legal, Security) to gather and verify required information
Maintain and contribute to a shared library of standardized RFI responses and approved content
Tailor responses to each prospect's specific requirements, industry context, and evaluation criteria
Full Sales Cycle for Small Prospects (up to 500 employees)
Manage the complete sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery through demo, negotiation, and close — for accounts up to 500 employees nationwide
Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social channels to build and maintain a healthy pipeline
Run discovery calls with brokers and prospects to understand prospect pain points, workflows, and decision-making processes
Deliver tailored product demonstrations that speak directly to each prospect's needs
Develop and present proposals, handle objections, and drive deals to close
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all pipeline activity and deal progress in the CRM
Ensure a smooth handoff to the Customer Success team at deal close
General Sales Responsibilities
Qualify inbound leads and route Enterprise opportunities to the appropriate Account Executive
Collaborate with marketing on campaign follow-up and lead conversion
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline and revenue targets
Share market and competitive insights gathered from prospect conversations with the broader team
Continuously develop product knowledge to credibly represent our solution across a variety of use cases
Requirements
Required
1–3 years of experience in a Sales, Business Development, or Account Executive role
Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle, including prospecting, demos, and closing
Strong written communication skills, particularly for crafting proposals and RFP responses
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines simultaneously
Comfortable working independently with a high degree of ownership over your book of business
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) and standard sales workflows
Nice to Have
Experience in SaaS or B2B sales
Familiarity with RFP or proposal management tools (e.g. Responsive, Loopio)
Exposure to SMB and mid-market sales motions
Understanding of procurement and vendor evaluation processes

Salary:
$90,000 base salary, $130,000 OTE, subject to standard withholding and applicable taxes. In addition to base salary, the role includes the opportunity to receive equity based on the Company’s plans and in accordance with the Company’s policies. Compensation finally awarded to the candidate will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience.
