Job Description - Sales Business Development Agent (Automotive)



We are looking for a Sales Business Development Agent to join our growing team! The right candidate will be a team player with a "can-do" attitude and excellent communication skills. Day-to-day tasks will include initial communication with clients regarding our product and service offerings.

Responsibilities



  • Answer customer calls and establish follows-up with appointments



  • Respond quickly to internet, phone and live chat inquiries using email, scripts and templates



  • Provide customers with initial product information and direct them to the appropriate dealership resources



  • Present initial financing options based on customer needs



  • Follow up with leads that are not ready to make an appointment or no-show



  • Participate in team and process development sessions – keeping positive relationships with teammates, sales teams and dealership management



  • Utilize CRM tracking system daily

Qualifications



  • 1+ in automotive BDC/BDR call center retail sales or hospitality (automotive experience preferred but not required).


  • CRM fluency (VIN solutions, DealerSocket, eLead, or similar), plus basic Google/Microsoft tools.

  • Professional phone voice, strong writing skills, and a friendly resilient demeanor.


  • Excellent teammate with collaborative attitude and eagerness to improve



  • Positive and hardworking personality


  • Ability to work some evenings and Saturdays

  • Reliable transportation


  • Valid driver’s license
