Job Description - Sales Business Development Representative (BDC)

We are currently seeking a Sales Business Development Representative (BDC) to join our call center team. This role plays a key part in the customer experience by supporting service customers with appointment scheduling, vehicle updates, and retention efforts.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Follow scripts and dealership guidelines on all inbound and outbound calls

  • Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and with a customer-first mindset

  • Accurately enter and maintain customer information in the CRM system

  • Schedule service appointments in accordance with dealership policies

  • Maintain balanced appointment distribution across the schedule


 


Outbound call responsibilities include (but are not limited to):




  • No-show follow-ups




  • Appointment confirmations




  • Lead follow-ups




  • Daily task list completion




  • Complete 125 outbound calls per day




  • Achieve a goal of 5–7 appointments set per day




  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals




  • Maintain professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude at all times




  • Perform additional duties as assigned




 


Qualifications



  • Previous call center, BDC, or customer service experience preferred (automotive a plus)

  • Strong communication and phone skills

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment

  • Basic computer skills and CRM experience preferred

  • Driven by goals, performance, and results
