POSITION SUMMARY
The Sales Consultant will be responsible for finding solutions for customer requests while placing phone/chat sales orders. This position will apply judgement when resolving customer problems. This role will be responsible for providing expert advice and comprehensive information on every product we sell while delivering world class service.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Present, educate, and sell merchandise to customers while addressing customer needs with exceptional phone etiquette. â¯Answer all incoming calls/chats promptly and professionally in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Utilize salesmanship techniques for closing sales; build rapport, qualify customers, handle rebuttals and overcome objection.
Follow up with customers by creating sales leads.
Navigate through multifunctional CPU interface systems like; ZenDesk, NetSuite, BoldChat, 3CX dashboard, third party distributors, Slack Channels, inventory spreadsheets, calculation devices and vendor websites in an efficient manner. â¯
Properly enter customer information into necessary programs to ensure successful product delivery. â¯Examine, analyze and document relevant details to ensure accurate data entry.
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships. â¯Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis while meeting customers’ needs during vehicle fitment.
Identify the best line of communication, both verbally and written, to effectively convey problematic issues or solutions to customers, vendors, or team members.
Read and understand individual KPI Reports that track closing percentage, number of chats & amp calls and salesman discounts.
Continuously improve skills, knowledge and technical acumen in vehicle and truck knowledge through vendor training, product classes, Real Truck University (RTU) training courses and product proficiency testing. â¯Study competitors pricing, inventory, warranty, return policy, and customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
0-3 years of experience in a customer service capacity is required.
Sales experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

Skills and Abilities
Ability to exhibit strategies, skills and methods used in selling or promoting products during customer’s inquiry.
Exhibit the ability to effectively upsell and cross sell company products after closing the sale.
Ability to multitask effectively and proficiently.
Ability to be mentored through coaching, training, constructive criticism or counseling.â¯â¯â¯â¯â¯
Demonstrated proficiency with multilateral computer systems and technology.
Ability to resolve conflict with ease and compassion.
Flexible schedule with the availability to work weekends and holidays.
