Job Overview & Responsibilities

As a Sales Consultant, you will be the key point of contact for customers throughout their car-buying journey. Your responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and understanding their vehicle needs


• Calling leads, following up on inquiries, and booking appointments via phone, text, and email


• Presenting and demonstrating vehicles, highlighting features and benefits


• Assisting customers with test drives and answering questions


• Negotiating fair and transparent pricing


• Reviewing and preparing sales paperwork accurately


• Following up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships


• Maintaining an organized, clean, and professional showroom environment


• Staying updated on new vehicle models, features, and industry trends


• Collaborating with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets


• Attending ongoing training sessions to sharpen your skills

Qualifications

Lots of successful sales consultants used to be bartenders, servers, pastors, call center reps, door-to-door salespeople, restaurant managers, trainers, coaches, and more! If you can work with people, we can work with you!

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities


• Ability to work independently and in a team


• Proficient in computer and internet applications


• Valid driver's license with a good driving record


• Minimum of 6 months sales or customer service experience preferred

Working Conditions

• Full-time (~45 hours), 5-day work week with every Sunday off


• Fast-paced, competitive environment


• Occasionally lift/move objects up to 50 pounds


• Extended periods of standing and walking


• Primarily phone-based and in-person customer service
