Sales Consultant – Schwieters Chevrolet (Cold Spring, MN)

Job Summary


As a Sales Consultant, you’ll meet with prospective buyers to assist them in making purchasing or leasing decisions. You’ll identify their needs and wants, present the best vehicle solutions, and ensure every customer enjoys an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Guide customers through a proven buying process using established selling steps and procedures.

  • Develop and communicate expert product knowledge around vehicle features and options.

  • Enhance the buying experience by demonstrating vehicles and conducting test drives.

  • Deliver vehicles using a structured process to ensure customers understand operating features, warranty coverage, and ownership essentials.

  • Maintain a follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business while building long-term customer relationships.

  • Assist management in ensuring the lot is properly merchandised to maximize visibility and sales.

  • Prospect for new customers through phone calls, emails, and outreach to service customers.

  • Close deals and celebrate success!

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.



Skills & Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems and processes.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (in person and over the phone).

  • Proficient in basic business math and percentages.

  • Positive, enthusiastic, and motivated to succeed.

  • Goal-driven and client-focused with a strong work ethic.

  • Self-motivated and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
