**Description**
Duties and Responsibilities
* Meets with customers in a sales environment to drive product sales and knowledge
* Demonstrates advanced products knowledge
* Adheres to any and all company policies and procedures
* Makes sales appointments with clients
* Generates new leads by meeting with retailers and suppliers
* Follows up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with product
* Assembles any and all product displays in a given market if needed
* Finds new target markets and penetrates them to drive sales
* Discovers how to market products to new users
* Understands how to make products appeal to consumers based on the environment and current trends
* Uses the Internet to push products to a given target market
* Works with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies
* Teaches other sales consultants how to make sales to potential consumers
* Discovers target markets and advantages of other companies
* Demonstrates advanced sales knowledge
* Always looks for new ways to make products attractive to customers
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or minimum of five (5) years related experience.
* Five (5) years previous sales experience.
* Valid state issued driver's license.
* Demonstrated high level proficiency of oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Ability to collaborate with key suppliers and advance positive relationships.
* Ability to use financial analysis to generate, evaluate, and act on strategic options and opportunities.
* Ability to establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results.
* Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments.
* Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications, for example, word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email and specialized business applications software
* Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all level of management.
* Ability to foster open dialogue and communication among the team.
