Job Description - Sales Coordinator (Hybrid Position)

Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Coordinator manages customer relationships, serving as the key point of contact, from initial lead outreach to contracting.  

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Research, solicit, and generate new business and maintain current accounts.

2. Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

3. Create and conduct proposals, written and verbal.

4. Create formal written contracts.

5. Participate in trade shows or other promotional events to solicit new business.

6. Participate in various sales and staff meetings.

7. Interact and cooperate with all other departments.

8. Any other duties as assigned.

9. As a 24-hour operation, all staff may be asked to work weekend, evening, or night shifts and/or holidays in order to serve our members, guests, and program participants.

10. This is a hybrid position. During the facility’s “In” season (March-September) the position is required to be on-site 3-4 days per week. During the Facility’s “Off” season (October-February), the position is required to be on-site 2-3 days per week. 

Bonus Structure: This position is entitled to a 1% bonus on any new business booked, to be paid monthly based on that month's contracted business. Additionally, there is a 1.5% bonus on every dollar in sales achieved over budget at the end of each year.


Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales-related field or customer service.
  • Strong Computer skills are needed, with the ability to learn new software platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
