Job Description - Sales Development Representative

Job Overview
We're seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you'll help clients find insurance solutions that protect what matters most to them while building a rewarding career with excellent income potential.
Responsibilities

Identify and contact potential clients to discuss their insurance needs
Explain various insurance policies and help clients choose appropriate coverage
Develop and maintain a client base through networking, referrals, and follow-ups
Stay current on insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory changes
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics
Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the client relationship

Qualifications
Required

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Valid state insurance license or ability to obtain one within 4 weeks
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency with CRM software and MS Office applications

Preferred

Previous sales experience, particularly in insurance or financial services
Established professional network in the local community
Experience with insurance quoting systems and policy management software
