We are recruiting 1st string players that have a passion for equipment and sales to join our team as a Sales Development Representatives to become future Account Managers. This is a comprehensive program designed to give you knowledge in all sales and operational areas of Vandalia Rental, develop your financial and business acumen as well as sales skills. These skills and tools will ensure your long-term success at Vandalia Rental. The Sales Development role will involve sales, equipment and operations training.
What you will be doing in the Sales Development Training Program:
You will work in each department and learn what it takes to win. Each area will be planned to allow you the best opportunity to learn the business.
Wash equipment, operate equipment, load and unload customers, service equipment to ensure clean, quality equipment and customer satisfaction.
Take and make phone calls to customers; write quotes, reservations and contracts that drive revenue. Give advice on equipment selection and usage.
Work with the logistics team to understand the delivery drivers’ role and learn dispatching.
Hit the road with an Account Manager and generate new business.
What you want to know:
$65,000 or more annual salary to start - depending on experience, education, skill
Once functioning as a full-time Sales Development role, you will receive a monthly vehicle allowance amount of $1219
Monthly bonus opportunity - And Yes, we pay it and it is easy to understand

As a Sales Development Representative you will:
Maximize account potential and exceed quarter over quarter, year over year revenue growth and profitability goals
Develop new business opportunities that align with our ideal client profile that result in long term, mutually beneficial partnerships
Serve as a conduit to coordinate customer requests and resolve escalated issues, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction
Requirements
Must be an absolute "Go Getter" with a will to win and a drive to succeed
High School Diploma is required; Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred
2+ years of outside sales experience
Experience in the rental industry is a plus
Excellent understanding of construction and industrial type equipment
Salesforce CRM or other CRM experience
Great presentation skills and don’t mind getting out in front
Technologically savvy. You’ll use computers, cell phones, and other cool techy stuff
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Must be able and willing to drive extensively throughout geographical area, must be able to work around construction and Industrial type environments, lift 35+ lbs.
Must able to have exposure to heat in the summer and cold in the winter
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Local travel is extensive for a Sales Development Representative.
