Job Description - Sales Development Representative

Full-time, Suamico, WI (In-Office)


Reports to: Sales Operations Manager



RC Mowers is a U.S. manufacturer of robotic mowing solutions that solve some of the toughest land management challenges in the industry. From dangerous terrain to the nationwide labor shortage, our cutting-edge technology gives public agencies, contractors, and landowners a safe, profitable way to manage landscapes.



As we grow, we’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who is experienced, energetic, and driven—someone who thrives on finding high-value opportunities and opening doors for our Regional Sales Managers (RSMs). This is a performance-focused role for a professional who knows how to get results and is ready to make an immediate impact.



What You’ll Do



  • Identify and qualify new leads by reaching out to municipalities, landscapers, utilities, and institutions like schools and park systems

  • Execute 50+ outbound calls and personalized emails per day using provided lists, tools, and scripts

  • Use consultative selling to uncover prospect pain points and position RC Mowers as the solution

  • Schedule qualified appointments and demos for our RSMs, ensuring seamless handoff

  • Accurately log and track all interactions in CRM

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Marketing to share feedback, improve scripts, and inform outreach strategy



What You Bring



  • 3+ years of successful experience in outbound sales, cold calling, or lead generation, with a strong preference for candidates who have sold to municipalities, contractors, utilities, or other public-sector or industrial clients

  • A proven track record of booking high-quality appointments, building sales pipeline, and hitting top-of-funnel activity targets

  • Skilled at consultative selling and objection handling—you ask smart questions, listen well, and deliver compelling messaging

  • Experience following up on trade show leads and re-engaging dormant prospects with fresh outreach strategies

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or HubSpot, with a commitment to CRM best practices

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—you’re polished, persuasive, and professional in every interaction

  • A self-starter with a high level of initiative, energy, and drive—you thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to new tools and strategies

  • A team-oriented mindset—you collaborate easily, take feedback well, and bring positivity and accountability to your role
