Job Summary:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) drives efforts to expand and grow Wiland market share and our presence in various industries through creating value with Wiland products & solutions for prospective new clients. They will target potential new leads and pursue, plan and select the most appropriate outreach sales strategies and approaches. The SDR educates prospective new clients on the benefits of Wilandâs data, solutions & capabilities. As appropriate they will leverage industry and financial business knowledge to create demand and persuade through the creation and presentation of compelling purchasing rationales. This employee will exhibit polish and professionalism as an ambassador for Wiland at various activities including sales meetings, networking events, conferences and industry gatherings when assigned. This individual will use Salesforce.com, HubSpot, WinMo, and other platforms to track and support new business sales.
This is a great role for someone early in their career who is interested in the sales or marketing profession. The job involves helping qualify new Wiland customers, performing research on prospects/contacts, coordinating marketing campaigns (with marketing), working on inbound support as well as outreach (via email/phone), and working hand in hand with the new business development reps on prospecting strategies and approaches.
Essential Functions:
1. Plans and coordinates sales support activities, including monitoring of the sales pipeline, for a defined territory, to ensure leads are worked, researched tracked and closed for an individual industry or vertical.
2. Regularly involved in phases of the sales lifecycle including: identifying and developing leads; contacting prospective clients; developing value propositions; providing introductions to new business development team for structuring and closing sale.
3. Researches, oversees and reviews technical solutions to verify the solutions meet and address the specific needs of the client.
4. Ensures all targeted prospect/client contacts and engagement opportunities are recorded in Salesforce.com (SFDC). Keep organized, up-to-date, detailed records.
5. Responsible for managing demand and quickly âqualifyingâ opportunities.
6. Interacts with other members of the industry or sales leadership team to define and execute sales strategies and tactics to increase revenue.
7. Establishes an executable strategy for specific pipeline development that supports the industryâs sales objectives. Continuously working to have a full pipeline that will contribute to increased Company revenue and growth.
8. Responsible and accountable for metrics including Pursuit Review and Win/Loss reviews on new accounts. Will update and provide metrics to senior management per established guidelines.
9. Effectively transition new clients to their respective assigned Sales (New Business) & Client Success teams. This involves effectively communicating identified goals, strategies, methods, timing, data resources, personnel, etc. of the new client to best facilitate the execution of analysis, modeling and fulfillment.

1. Represent Wiland in a positive, professional manner at all meetings, industry events, conferences, and other venues.
2. As possible, leverage external relationships and personal network to generate sales leads for territory.

5. Provide clear, positive, thorough and timely communication.
6. Work independently as well as collaborate with team members to identify efficiency and accuracy standards.
7. Performs all other duties as assigned or amended.
Requirements
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
Bachelorâs degree in sales, marketing or other related discipline. Must be able to produce college transcripts showing minimum 3.0 GPA.
· 2+ year experience in Marketing industry, with experience in data sales
· 2+ years using Salesforce, or a closely related sales force automation system.
· 1+ years of demonstrated success in pursuing and setting up meetings with key prospects.
· Working knowledge of marketing campaign management and database marketing strategies and tactics.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong, polished and demonstrated presentation skills.
· Ability to be self-motivated, self-aware and self-correct.
· Possess the openness to learn new tactics and approaches as needed.
· Ability to travel according to Best Practices.

Compensation Range: $46,000 - $57,000. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component.
