Job Description - Sales Director

Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business or related field,
Minimum 5+years in the field or a related area of training and education in the field
Experience in a similar role in the direct sales industry required
Demonstrated leadership, team building, action planning & coordination skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to promote, coordinate and support change
Demonstrated problem solving & decision-making skills
Strong collaboration skills and experience
Responsibilities

Highly cross-functional role responsible for shaping the overall communications vision and plan for the field Sales Department of the company
Establish and drive a multi-channel communications strategy and oversee the multi-channel strategy, curriculum development, content creation, and manage the delivery platforms (virtual and in-person)
The role interacts with partners across the business and requires superb collaboration, communication, organization, and content production abilities
Collaborate with the Sales Directors to promote a self-training culture within the company
Responsible for heading the company’s Learning Management System development, managing the platform, and routinely analyzing the variations on the company’s KPIs
Track engagement across various platforms and make data-driven decisions
Assess, document, and develop curriculum alignment (examples: onboarding, product launches, short-term and long-term learning cycles)
Prepare and manage all communications and training material and the delivery of training content
Explore new ways to build a curriculum that supports the distributors in the field
Oversee the creation and development of the Learning Management System, video training, virtual/in-person classroom led training, sales manager training sessions, and the distribution of content through the appropriate platforms
Build upon variable operations monthly training calendar and execute a comprehensive strategy across all business units
Look for avenues to improve the team's content and tools - keep raising the bar
Collaborate with the Executive Team on the content needed and distribution of their communication to the field
Supervise content metrics and customer feedback
Establish and develop the strategy, timing, and frequency of communications through multiple platforms
Create, track, and sustain a comprehensive development plan for independent distributors in the field
