Job Description - Sales Director

Company DescriptionMARVIN Labs is a post-revenue startup based in San Francisco, CA, leveraging AI to become the world's leading high-trust provider of mold inspection, testing, and remediation. We have developed a suite of innovative products and services for mold consultants, businesses, and consumers to detect hidden mold growth before it impacts their health or finances.

As a post-revenue startup our solutions include: our AI system for automated mold identification and counting used by mold inspectors/consultants (13,000 commercial samples processed); laboratory services for mold and asbestos testing; AI assisted inspection and reporting tools; and our pre-order MARVIN Air system for DIY mold monitoring.

Role DescriptionThis is an early startup hire, for a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Director at MARVIN Labs. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing and leading a sales team, developing sales strategies, building customer relationships, and driving business development. You will also collaborate with the customer service team to ensure excellent customer satisfaction. This role is primarily located in San Francisco, CA, with the flexibility for some remote work.

QualificationsMust have a proven track record in enterprise and technical sales.Must have expertise with sales and marketing automation software.Must have business development skills, able to work with customers to build use case and financial model for high value sales.Must have experience in managing a sales team.Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills.Nice to have experience in the environmental monitoring industry.Nice to have Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.Prior startup experience is good to have.

Renumeration PackageExcellent sales commission (we are a high margin business, with $250K ARR of inventory to deploy)Very generous 3-5% equity package. (you're in this for the long haul!)Low base salary (expect increase to market in 2024 with demonstrated sales, new fundraising milestones).Health insurance.
