Director of Sales - Conlan Tire - Warren, MI.

Conlan Tire, an industry leading tire retreading company, is looking for a Director of Sales to oversee our entire sales division. Our sales division consists of about 40 sales reps, working out of 30 different stores in 3 different regions of the United States. We are seeking an aggressive, forward-thinking and highly motivated candidate to work in a fast paced environment.

Conlan Tire is a top of the line commercial tire retreading and re-manufacturing operation. We specialize in commercial tire retreading practices. We also do casing management, warranty claims, fuel testing, alignments, sales, tire repair, production and quality control. We strive to provide the most fuel efficient re-manufactured tires in the market!

Duties Include, but not limited:
Managing of Sales operations by working with Sales reps and directors of business development across 3 regions
Implementing training plans and sales goals
Hire, Fire, train and develop sales reps across the country.
Implement and evaluate KPI’s for the sales team
Setting expectations for Sales reps and Directors of Business Development
Overseeing inventory of all of the stores, and occasionally doing inventory at the store level.
Review reports in regard to store, and employee performance.
Handling performance reviews and disciplinary action for sales personnel
Occasional travel to other regions to develop sales and or sales reps
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
3-5 years’ commercial tire operations
Knowledge of commercial tires and retreading
Ability to multitask and continually prioritize a changing workload
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
An aggressive and competitive nature to drive sales goals
The confidence to set expectations and ensure they are being met
Superior communication skills – including listening, speaking/writing, and computer literacy
College degree preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
Hours: Mon-Fri, 7:30am – 5:30pm, Hours can be slightly longer during peak season
