Job Description - Sales Director (US Markets)

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Sales Director manages and oversees the sales operations within the organization.
Main duties include designing plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with clients and evaluating costs to determine their products’ pricing when selling to customers.
Lead the sales team by developing and implementing sales plans to increase the company’s profit and motivating their employees to hit these sales goals.
They also conduct research on the competition and supply and demand costs to determine how much their products are worth. This helps them develop reasonable product pricing that fits within the customer’s budget and brings in a great profit

Development of robust sales strategies to achieve targets
Completion of high-level tasks that keep the sales team productive and efficient.
Excellent at communicating and listening to the needs of many parties, including the sales team, executive members and customers.
Advanced knowledge on that specific industry to help them effectively understand their product and the customers’ wants and needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Communicate sales goals and progress updates to C-level executives.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their business objectives and needs.
Stay informed on industry-specific trends and competitive landscapes.
Deliver compelling value propositions through presentations and proposals.
Report on factors that influence strategic account directions and budgets.
Foster customer loyalty by cultivating lasting relationships.
Set and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
Prepare detailed and accurate sales reports.
Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and goals.
Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand dynamics to determine pricing strategies.
Estimate sales volume and profitability for existing and new products.
Qualifications and Experience:
Over 8 years of experience in an executive-level sales position within the BPO industry.
Extensive experience in sales, with a strong understanding of sales operations, marketing and strategy development.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Preference for candidates with an MBA.
Advanced industry-specific knowledge to understand value proposition and customer needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage the sales process from start to finish.
Strong listening, team coaching and development, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to articulate the unique aspects of BPO services and products.
Experience developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
