Sales Engineer

About the Company

Our partner builds testing and observability infrastructure for conversational AI agents. The company is past $2M in revenue and growing fast, has onboarded more than 150 conversational-AI companies, and works with several Fortune 500 enterprises. The team is about fifteen people, and this role reports directly to the founder.

The Opportunity

This is a pre-sales forward-deployed engineering seat. You will run sandbox demos, stand up integrations, and prove value quickly for a high volume of prospective customers.

The work is engineering-first and client-facing at the same time. You will build the demo, run the conversation, and translate what a technical buyer cares about into something they can see working.

Responsibilities

• Build and run sandbox demos and integrations for prospective customers.
• Own the technical thread in pre-sales conversations from first call through evaluation.
• Turn customer requirements into working proofs of value quickly, at volume.
• Present results and articulate product value to technical and business stakeholders.
• Feed recurring customer needs back to product and engineering.

Requirements

• Software engineering background, ideally at a startup where you shipped end to end.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; comfortable demoing live to customers.
• Fluent with AI tooling and able to build fast with it.
• Comfortable with high-volume, short-cycle customer work.
• Based in San Francisco and able to work onsite.
