We are hiring a Sales Engineer – Cybersecurity to support regional Account Executives in driving technical validation and deal progression.
This is a customer-facing role focused on technical discovery, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution alignment within manufacturing, industrial, and engineering environments.
You will serve as the technical counterpart to the Account Executive — helping customers understand architecture, risk exposure, and implementation approach while ensuring deals move forward with credibility and clarity.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging deeply with technical buyers while influencing commercial outcomes.
Partner with regional Account Executives on active opportunities
Conduct technical discovery sessions with IT, OT, and security teams
Deliver tailored product demonstrations
Design and manage proof-of-concepts (POCs)
Translate customer requirements into clear technical solutions
Support RFP/RFI responses as needed
Attend regional industry events and conferences
Provide feedback to leadership on product positioning and objections
Assist post-sale transition when technical continuity is beneficial
Not a pure support desk role
Not an implementation-only engineer
Not internal IT
You are part of the revenue team and directly impact deal velocity and win rates.
$120,000 – $150,000 USD (region-adjusted)
15% – 25% annual performance bonus
Compensation structure is typically 80% base / 20% variable, aligned to:

Top-performing Sales Engineers exceed bonus targets when regional teams outperform.
5+ years in cybersecurity, network security, OT security, or technical pre-sales
Experience working with manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments
Comfortable presenting to both technical teams and executive stakeholders
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (switching, routing, segmentation)
Familiar with vulnerability management, monitoring, or intrusion detection concepts
Organized and able to manage multiple active POCs
Comfortable traveling regionally
