Our client, a prominent player in the Accounting Technology industry, is in search of a Sales Engineer with a strong focus on technology to join their expanding team!

Sales Engineer Responsibilities:

• Engage with accounting firms to comprehensively understand their business requirements and challenges, offering expert guidance on how our technology solutions can effectively address their specific needs.
• Conduct thorough system design reviews for firms, evaluating their tech stack usage and providing optimization recommendations for both utilization and processes.
• Collaborate closely with the product development team and technology partners to remain updated on new features and enhancements.
• Demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency to clearly communicate the value proposition of our solutions.
• Perform "new logo" sales product demonstrations and presentations to highlight the technical capabilities of our offerings, such as Sage Intacct, BILL AP/AR, BILL Spend & Expense, among others.
• Conduct client-facing product demonstrations and presentations for firms.
• Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, technical documentation, and other necessary materials for the sales process.
• Take part in pre-sales activities, including addressing technical queries and concerns.

Sales Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales engineering.
• Passion for technology and extensive experience in ERP systems, with a deep understanding of Sage Intacct technology.
• Experience with FP&A platforms and other technology product integrations with Sage Intacct is advantageous.
• Proficient in presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines, manage competing priorities, and adapt work plans to address emergent challenges or opportunities.
