Job Description - Sales Engineer II

Proconex is the exclusive Emerson Impact Partner for Emerson Automation Solutions in the Mid-Atlantic region. Sales Engineer II


We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team and work with our customers in the energy and industrial sector. This role involves understanding the customer's needs and providing support to ensure their satisfaction.


Responsibilities:



  • Help with Fisher Controls and Emerson Actuation Business Units.

  • Manage quotes and orders using our ERP system.

  • Ensure timely shipping of high-value industrial parts and equipment.

  • Support sales operations to keep customers happy and ensure on-time delivery.

  • Work with the sales team to respond to quotes and track business opportunities.

  • Coordinate projects and manage documents for quotes and orders.

  • Communicate with vendors, principals, and customers via phone and email.

  • Resolve customer issues and complaints quickly.

  • Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor customer inquiries, quotes, and order fulfillment via email, phone, and ERP system.

  • Network with customers to identify future business opportunities.


Skills and Experience:



  • Strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

  • Experience in inside sales or sales administration is a plus.

  • 5-7 years of experience in the industrial process business or similar.

  • Bachelor's degree in business preferred.

  • Problem-solving skills in a team environment.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Attention to detail, especially in technical documentation.

  • Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office and customer databases or CRM/ERP systems.

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in a team environment.
