As a Sales Engineer at TWAICE, you’ll play a pivotal role in the commercial cycle—bridging the gap between customer needs and TWAICE’s analytics capabilities. You will own technical pre-sales engagements with energy storage customers and ensure that proposed solutions are robust, scalable, and tailored to customer challenges. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines deep technical knowledge of BESS systems with strong communication skills and a consultative mindset.
Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering with customers and prospects (IPPs, utilities, asset managers, integrators)
Translate customer use cases into viable solution designs using TWAICE’s Energy Storage Analytics Suite
Deliver high-quality product demos, technical deep-dives, and scoping engagements
Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders from engineering to executive level
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to communicate customer feedback and influence roadmap
Support AE team in proposal development, RFP responses, and technical documentation
Guide new customers through technical onboarding and integration planning
Represent TWAICE at industry events and contribute to thought leadership content such as blogposts and webinars
5+ years in sales engineering, pre-sales, or technical customer success in energy, grid, or battery software, or industrial SaaS
Strong knowledge of battery energy storage systems (BESS), grid operations, or asset management
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both engineering and business stakeholders
Familiarity with analytics, battery degradation, EMS platforms, or data infrastructure (SCADA, API integrations)
Background in energy markets (e.g., CAISO, ERCOT, PJM) beneficial
