Job Description - Sales Executive


Our client in the is seeking a hands-on and results-driven Sales & Territory Executive to join their team in the Lake Zone region. The Sales & Territory Executive will be responsible for opening and growing the market across Mwanza, Shinyanga, Geita, and Simiyu through active field sales and customer relationship management. The role involves identifying and onboarding new customers, driving daily sales activities, following up on collections, and ensuring strong market presence in the region. Ideal candidates are disciplined, self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently while building long-term customer relationships in a highly competitive market.



Responsibilities:



  • Actively identify, open, and grow new customers including garages, retail shops, wholesalers, and distributors across the Lake Zone region.

  • Drive daily field sales activities to secure orders and expand market coverage.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from customers.

  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand market needs, resolve issues, and promote company products effectively.

  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback to support business growth strategies.

  • Prepare and submit daily sales, collection, and field activity reports accurately and on time.

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and support the overall expansion of the company’s regional presence.

  • Coordinate with internal teams including logistics, finance, and operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent the company professionally while maintaining high standards of discipline, accountability, and customer service.






Requirements



  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is an added advantage.

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within lubricants, spare parts, FMCG, or related industries.

  • Strong field sales and customer engagement experience.

  • Ability to work independently and manage territory growth effectively.

  • Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Able to prepare and submit simple daily sales and collection reports.

  • Self-driven, disciplined, and highly accountable.

  • Target-oriented with strong follow-up and closing skills.

  • Based in Mwanza or willing to relocate to Mwanza.

  • Proficiency in MS Office is an added advantage.
