Responsibilities:
Identify Prospects and make sales calls
Negotiate with established and developing customers to secure profitable rates
Close sales opportunities
Manage daily shipments activities and ensure superior customer service
Develop and maintain carrier relationships.
Maintain up to date knowledge of market trends
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
Logistics, freight brokerage, or customer service experience preferred
Qualifications:
Strong work-ethic, growth-minded and self-starter.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to build strong relationships.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have strong computer skills.
