The role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team, focusing on selling Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) solutions to federal, state, and local government entities (FED/SLED).
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity sales, a deep understanding of government procurement processes, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Nettitude will provide you with the training and support that will equip you with an understanding of the cyber security industry and Nettitude’s service offering. You will be required to acquire and own accounts and perform all activities during the sales cycle along with managing the client engagement throughout the project delivery cycle. Performance will be demonstrated by meeting/exceeding agreed upon Sales KPI’s.
As a member of LRQA Nettitude team you will provide a first class service to ensure our clients are secure and protected.
What you will be doing in your role:
In your role you will:
Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the FED/SLED sectors, focusing on CMMC compliance solutions.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets. This includes market research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within federal, state, and local government agencies. Understand their unique needs and provide tailored CMMC solutions.
Proposal Management: Lead the preparation and delivery of high-quality proposals, presentations, and demonstrations to prospective clients.
Contract Negotiation: Manage contract negotiations and close deals to achieve sales objectives.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and effective CMMC solutions.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM tools.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the cybersecurity industry, with a focus on selling to government entities (FED/SLED).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of CMMC requirements and the cybersecurity landscape within government sectors.
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
Networking: Established network of contacts within federal, state, and local government agencies.
Results-Driven: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Personal Traits: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
