Essential Duties:

• Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all vehicle sales employees.


• Manage Inventory, order vehicles, become intimately familiar with all OEM systems pertaining to inventory management.


• Desk deals, take TO's, be in the know of everything going on in the showroom at all times.


• Oversee the efforts of vehicle salespeople to enhance the image and customer satisfaction rating of the dealership.


• Communicate with vehicle salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.


• Set sales and gross objectives for vehicle salespeople.


• Guide all salespeople in setting their objectives on a short and long range basis.


• Recommend for dismissal any salesperson failing to meet company standards.


• Conduct daily and weekly sales training meetings as directed by the General Manager.


• Work with salespeople on programs that will increase the new-car gross and increase f&I penetration.


• Conduct formal personnel reviews with each salesperson yearly.


• Sell financing and applicable insurance products to complement the vehicle purchase.


• Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, factory and otherwise.


• Submit paperwork to and obtain approval from finance sources on all finance deals.


• Handle all rate quotations.


• Check all paperwork for correct title, lien information, taxes, etc.


• Establish and meet monthly objectives.


• Sell Extended Warranties and all other after market items and insurances.


• Verify insurance with customers agents, obtain deposits, verify trade payoffs.


• Submission of sales log to be submitted to the accounting office for verification of numbers.
