The Role:
We’re looking for an outgoing and motivated Pawnbroker to join our team. In this role, you’ll help customers with loans, purchases, and sales, as well as assess and price items ranging from electronics to fine jewelry. Strong customer service skills and an ability to connect with people from all walks of life are a must.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist customers with pawn loans, purchases, and payments
- Accurately evaluate and price merchandise (training provided)
- Maintain store displays and merchandise organization
- Handle transactions in compliance with company policies and applicable laws
- Build relationships with customers to encourage repeat business
What We’re Looking For:
Bilingual in English & Spanish strongly preferred (to best serve our customer community)
- Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience helpful but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable handling cash and negotiating with customers
