Job Description - Sales Lead

At Lytegen we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Lead to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone eager to begin a career in sales and develop leadership skills. As a Sales Lead, you will support the sales team in driving revenue, nurturing customer relationships, and contributing to team goals. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sales strategy, customer engagement, and lead generation.

This is an in-office role in Sacramento located in Natomas.

Salary listed is based on hourly + commissions, NO CAP on commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying potential customers and generating new sales leads
  • Coaching others and developing talent
  • Support senior sales representatives in developing and closing deals
  • Track customer interactions and maintain accurate sales records in CRM tools
  • Help coordinate sales campaigns and promotional activities
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to brainstorming and strategy sessions
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-up communications
  • Learn and apply best practices in sales techniques and lead management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-paced sales environment
  • Basic knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
