Job Description - Sales Lead

Lytegen, a leading solar sales company is seeking an experienced Sales Team Lead! This role requires hands-on management, sales experience, and leadership experience. We have a lead by example culture and you'll be able to maximize earnings by closing your own deals!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of in-home Solar Consultants, ensuring consistent performance and growth.
  • Drive a lead-by-example culture by modeling best practices in communication, closing skills, and professionalism.
  • Set and monitor KPIs (sit rate, close rate, install rate) and hold reps accountable to performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing training on sales frameworks, objection handling, and closing strategies.
  • Support reps in-field when necessary to help secure deals and provide real-time coaching.
  • Conduct in-home consultations with pre-set appointments to educate homeowners on solar and energy-saving solutions.
  • Maintain a strong personal close rate to maximize earnings and set the standard for the team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Basic knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
  • CA Drivers license
  • Driving your personal vehicle is required for local sales presentations
  • Personal laptop or tablet for sales presentations
  • Required to work full-time in office in Sacramento, CA 40+ Hours per week
  • W-2 Position with full-time hours
  • Access to group rates on insurance (indemnity, dental, disability, life, etc.)
  • Snacks and refreshments provided in office

  • Hourly Base Pay plus Uncapped Commissions
