Are you a natural relationship builder who loves both animals and people? Do you thrive on client engagement, sales, and turning leads into loyal clients? We’re hiring a Sales Lead to own the client journey for all 3 locations of The Barking Dog—from first inquiry to loyal client! This specialized role focuses on lead outreach, lead conversion, sales, detailed communication tracking, and client education to ensure pet parents feel informed, cared for, and are excited to choose our resort. This role requires strong internal and external communication skills prior work with animals preferred. You’ll work closely with our Hosts as part of the resort’s total service team.
This is a full-time (30-40 hours) role as a dedicated sales professional supporting three pet resorts within The Barking Dog brand. You will partner with the host and management teams of each resort you support from your home resort. This is an on-site position (10a-5p), with home resorts located in Exeter, Derry and Hooksett NH.

Qualifications
- Experience in outbound communication and sales conversion required
- Computer, phone and email skills including SMS messaging necessary
- Experience in a pet resort, vet hospital or similar industry is preferred
- Highly organized, detailed and efficient team with all internal and external communication
- Sales driven mindset. Goal-oriented with a strong sense of accountability
- Ability to work independently and with a team to create a seamless experience for both pets and pet parents.
- Knowledge of Gingr software is a bonus.
- Resort/Hospital level animal care is preferred
Responsibilities
• Ensure a caring and compassionate experience for pet parents through clear communication, attention to detail, and accuracy in documentation.
• Demonstrate a high level of knowledge of the services offered and resort practices by confidently making custom recommendations to drive revenue.
• Proactively follow up with leads, driving conversions from trial offers to loyal clients
