Why this role matters: This entry-level position maintains a ready-to-shop sales floor while helping customers locate and understand merchandise.

The work is active and team-oriented. This is an on-site position. The work is performed in a store, stockroom, warehouse, distribution center, production facility, or similar physical work environment, with regular face-to-face interaction with customers, coworkers, supervisors, drivers, or other onsite teams as applicable.

• Walk assigned areas and proactively assist shoppers

• Recover shelves, racks, displays, and merchandise

• Restock products from backroom inventory

• Communicate inventory or customer needs to store leadership

Success looks like: A strong entry-level candidate is dependable, comfortable working on their feet, able to communicate clearly with others, attentive to accuracy and safety, and willing to learn established procedures. Prior experience is helpful but is not required for many roles when employer training is provided.
