Job Description - Sales Manager

A leading and long-established company within the beverage manufacturing and distribution sector is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and grow its sales operations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and driving revenue growth across both local and export markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve targets across all sales channels (retail, HoReCa, and wholesale).

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and market segments, locally and internationally.

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed KPIs and company objectives.

  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring top-tier service and client satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align promotional strategies with market demand and brand positioning.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales tactics accordingly.

  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews for senior management.

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager within the FMCG sector, ideally in beverages, food, or consumer goods.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop high-performing sales teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach.

  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and CRM tools.

  • Fluent in English; Maltese is considered an asset.

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally and occasionally abroad.
