Job Description - Sales Manager



Position Overview:


At Starwood Powersports in Gainesville, Texas, we’re looking for a passionate and driven Sales Manager with F&I experience to join our team and help take our dealership to the next level! As a Sales Manager, you'll collaborate with the sales and finance teams to create an exciting and seamless experience for our customers, guiding them through every step of their journey. Key Responsibilities:



  • Inspire the Sales Team: Lead, motivate, and energize the sales team to achieve their goals while delivering an unforgettable customer experience. Work side by side with your team to ensure everyone is aligned and pushing toward the same objectives.

  • Collaborative Customer Financing: Partner with the Finance Manager to present customers with the best financing options, helping them protect their purchases with extended warranties and insurance plans.

  • Drive Sales Strategy Together: Work closely with the team to develop and implement creative sales strategies. Stay ahead of industry trends to keep Starwood Powersports the top choice for all things powersports.

  • Foster Team Growth: Recruit, train, and mentor a talented sales team that shares your passion for powersports. Encourage their development and support their success every step of the way.

  • Team Inventory Management: Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure we have the right mix of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and accessories to meet customer demand and drive sales.

  • Ensure Compliance & Accuracy: Make sure all sales processes and documentation meet local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring accuracy and smooth operations for the whole team.

  • Measure & Celebrate Success: Track team performance, analyze key metrics, and celebrate wins. Use the data to fine-tune strategies and keep everyone focused on continual growth.


Qualifications:



  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager with F&I expertise in a dealership or retail environment.

  • Strong understanding of powersports products and the financing process.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, collaborative environment while meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Preferred:



  • Experience in the automotive or powersports industry.

  • Familiarity with local lenders and financial institutions in Texas.
