Job Description - Sales Manager at Growing Ford Dealership



Since 1912, the Bredemann family has focused on finding the strongest local talent in the automotive industry. 


We are looking for a motivated and dependable Sales Manager to join our Ford team!  


He or she has the ability to lead, mentor, and work with various types of personalities with professionalism and respect.  Successful and stable background as a new or preowned manager - desking and closing deals, motivating sales teams, controlling inventory, appraising vehicles, and acquiring vehicles.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance and productivity of salespeople

  • Coach sales consultants daily to improve closing ratios, front-end gross, and efficiency

  • Execute a strong appointment-driven sales process.

  • Monitors team production via CRM tool and holds sales staff accountable for completing required customer tasks

  • Manage ordering and acquisition of new and used vehicle inventory

  • Manage inventory on the lot to ensure organization and optimal presentation

  • Completes product and sales training courses as required by the manufacturer

  • Handles customer complaints or escalates when necessary

  • Upholds ownership's dedication to integrity and high customer satisfaction standards


 


REQUIREMENTS:



  • Previous dealership management experience. Ford or other domestic is preferred.

  • Experience with VinSolutions, VAuto and Reynolds DMS is preferred.

  • Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment

  • Strong communication, presentation, technology and computer skills

  • Demonstrated ability to close sales

  • Negotiation expertise

  • Must have a clean & valid driver’s license

  • Must be willing to submit to a background check to employment.
