Job Description - Sales Manager - Berglund Outdoors

Berglund Outdoors is seeking a driven, hands-on Sales Manager to lead our sales operation focused on all-terrain vehicles, side-by-sides, and outdoor recreation products. This role is ideal for a sales leader with experience in ATVs, campers, RVs, or similar lifestyle-based retail environments who understands how to balance team leadership, customer experience, and performance results.

What You’ll Do



  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve volume, margin, and customer satisfaction goals.

  • Manage the full sales process from customer engagement to deal close.

  • Set daily and monthly sales objectives and track performance consistently.

  • Work closely with inventory, marketing, and operations to ensure the right mix of products on the floor.

  • Maintain strong product knowledge across ATVs and Utility Vehicles, and related outdoor vehicles.

  • Ensure a professional, energetic showroom experience that reflects the Berglund brand.

  • Train the team on effective selling techniques, follow-up, and relationship-building.


What Success Looks Like (Performance Metrics)



  • Consistent achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.

  • Strong gross profit performance while maintaining competitive pricing.

  • High levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Engaged, accountable sales team with low turnover.

  • Accurate reporting and forecasting of sales performance.


What We’re Looking For



  • Previous sales management or senior sales experience

  • Background in ATVs, powersports, campers, RVs, boats, or similar recreational products preferred

  • Proven ability to lead by example and close deals

  • Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills

  • Results-driven mindset with a customer-first approach

  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility to work weekends as needed
