Sales Manager / Desk Manager $110K+ Starting | Haggerty Auto Group

Job Summary

Haggerty Auto Group, a family-owned domestic automotive dealership group, is seeking an Experienced Used Car / Desk Manager to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate is results-driven, motivated, and has a proven record of success in used car operations with strong knowledge of current vehicle market conditions.

Compensation

This position offers a combination of salary and commission, with earnings starting at $110,000 per year and unlimited potential based on store performance.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Lead and manage the Sales Department to achieve dealership goals for volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction.

  
  


• 
  

  Directly manage, motivate, and hold sales staff accountable.

  
  


• 
  

  Hire, train, and coach sales personnel.

  
  


• 
  

  Desk deals using CRM, conduct trade appraisals, and oversee retail deliveries.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with inventory management and vehicle acquisition.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with employees and customers to streamline the sales process.

  
  


• 
  

  Report directly to the General Manager.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Prior Domestic Automotive Sales Management experience required.

  
  


• 
  

  3–5 years of automotive industry experience (Sales and F&I preferred).

  
  


• 
  

  Strong used car background with a working knowledge of current market values.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication, coaching, and closing skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to build rapport with customers and generate referrals.

  
  


• 
  

  Organized, resilient, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Outgoing, professional, and positive attitude.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work evenings and weekends.

  
  


• 
  

  Bilingual skills a plus.

  High school diploma or equivalent required.

  Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

  
  


• 
  

  Must pass pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug screen.
