Sales manager - GM

OVERVIEW

Perform a variety of sales duties to internal and external customers within the business unit.  Effectively manage all assigned areas within the Sales Department. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for all commercial issues with customer;
• Identify new business opportunities;
• Negotiate and document all commercial aspects of the project;
• Maintain and record periodic meetings with the project team at customer location;
• Track development, timing, volumes, and competitor content data regarding target vehicles at customer;
• Timely support payment issues with internal departments and customer;
• Solicit and respond to customer’s request for quotations;
• Create, maintain, and present sales presentations; 
• Identify and call on critical customer decision makers; 
• Facilitate communications between customer and global Brembo offices including Brazil, China, and Italy;
• Periodic travel to customers, Brembo manufacturing facilities, and overseas offices

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree (Business or Technical)
• 5+ years of experience in sales
• Solid understanding of manufacturing environment (machining and assembly)
• Experience in automotive industry 
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable
