At Six is a contemporary art and design hotel with 343 rooms and suites, including our 115 sqm Masterpiece Suite and 32 longstay apartments adjacent to the hotel. The sales department is the heart of the hotel and consists of Sales managers, project coordinators, sales agents, reservations agent and marketing coordinator. The department works together to ensure the highest possible occupancy and level of service. The teams work independently but maintain close collaboration to ensure an efficient and powerful result. The Role and Our Philosophy
We are now expanding our sales team and looking for an additional sales manager within MICE. The position offers a unique opportunity to play a big part in the further development of our Meeting & Event spaces located in central Stockholm in an international and creative environment.
In this role, you are responsible for identifying new business opportunities for the hotel. The work involves; client visits, screenings, various forms of sales activities, quotations, etc. You have a great interest in business meetings and events, you are driven to see the customer’s needs and to create genuine customized solutions. You will be a part of the sales team and report directly to the Director of Sales.
To sum up, you’ll be doing;
Primarily responsible for driving MICE business to the hotel
Initiate new sales, prospects and qualify leads
Follow up on all actions generated as a result of this sales activity ensuring that all revenue opportunities are maximized to their fullest
Develop sales plans and strategies (with DOS) to meet or exceed established revenue and target goals
Participate in sales blitzes, trade shows, workshops, host site inspections and develop sales activities

And what about you?
You’re currently working as a Meetings & Event Sales Manager, preferably in an international environment. During your years of experience, you’ve gained great knowledge of the local market within MICE and have a big network. The hospitality industry is your core and you know it well, if you’ve worked within the premium segment - that’s a plus. You’re fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
