Sales & Metal Procurement (Akron)

LHH has an immediate opening for a Sales & Metal procurement Specialist in Akron. This is a contract to hire role that requires heavy travel and is a good fit for anyone with strong cold calling or purchasing experience. This role starts at $35,000 per year and offers commission, employees in their first year typically make between $60,000 to $70,000 after commission.

Responsibilities:
Cold calling organizations

Placing purchase orders

Regular travel to different client sites in different states

Maintain purchasing orders

Qualifications:
Past experience with ERP systems preferred

Cold calling experience is strongly preferred

Skills:
Strong interpersonal communication skills

High level of accuracy while maintaining quality

Keen attention to detail

Experience:
Two years of experience is preferred

Contract to hire

Compensation:
$35,000 per year (after commission, first year employees typically make $60,000 to $70,000)

Work Hours:
Full time 40 hours a week

8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Some nation wide travel is required
