What You’ll Do

As a Sales Porter, you will be a vital part of the dealership’s success by ensuring the sales lot and inventory are maintained at the highest standards. Your responsibilities include:

Vehicle Preparation – Ensure all sales vehicles are cleaned, fueled, and ready for customer viewings and test drives.
Customer Service & Interaction – Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers, including vehicle pickup and delivery when needed.
Lot Organization & Maintenance – Keep the sales lot well-organized, ensuring an attractive and professional presentation of vehicles.
Support for the Sales Team – Assist in delivering vehicles, moving inventory, and facilitating test drives.
Vehicle Check-Ins – Inspect and safely move incoming inventory while maintaining dealership quality standards.
Additional Duties as Assigned – Adaptability is key in supporting dealership operations.

Compensation

$17.00 - $19.50 per hour

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

•  Valid California Driver’s License – Unrestricted, with a clean driving record free of violations.
• Minimum of 2 Years of Driving Experience – Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Weekend Availability Required – Automotive sales environments are busiest on weekends.
• Exceptional Navigation Skills – Ability to efficiently use navigation applications to locate destinations.
• Time Management & Organizational Skills – Maintain a structured approach to tasks and schedules.
• Strong Communication & Customer Service Skills – Ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to Drive Manual & Automatic Vehicles – Confidently operate a variety of vehicle types.
• Comfort in Tight Spaces – Safely maneuver vehicles in confined areas.
• Ability to Work Independently – Perform tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining high efficiency.
• Team-Oriented Mindset – Committed to supporting both customers and colleagues.
• Positive & Professional Attitude – Uphold a high level of responsibility, reliability, and enthusiasm.
